Leftovers

Filed under: Urban Landscape — Thérèse @ 11:11 pm

In a parking lot in the city
which is every parking lot, in every city
On a day which is every day…

No idea why this piece of twine or rope is there, but it is. Still though, in the middle of a parking lot? Why? Why is that there?

I’m going to assume it’s the leftovers from a bondage experiment that happened at the pub on the other side of this parking lot. The pub is called down under or something like that, so it’s an appropriate theory.

Makeshift ladder on a telephone post

Frankly, I have no idea what would prompt someone to begin making a ladder up a telephone pole, only to stop after two rungs. If you zoomed out, you’d see that this is really all there is to it. And it’s not like you can access anything once up those two rungs, you’re just hanging out there, with a different view.

Why is that there?
